Project description: Renewal of lateral mains, replacement of landlord lighting, estate lighting and new lift supplies to 246 flats over 12 blocks, with 24 intakes at Clapham Park Estate SW2

Background: Part of Metropolitan Housing’s Estate Regeneration programme.
Brief Description of Works: Installation of 3 compartment trunking, finished to RAL 9010 for installation of new lateral main, new landlord lighting and entryphone cables. Liaising with UKPN for replacement of service heads and EDF Energy for changeovers.
Challenge: Maintaining existing supplies whilst installing new systems. Carrying out major refurbishment in occupied buildings.
Technical Solution: Installed a totally separate system whilst maintaining ageing existing system. Liaised with residents at all times to minimise impact on them.
