Brief Description of Works: Installation of Ryfield rising busbar system, renewal of lateral mains. Installation of 2 compartment trunking for Entryphone, T.V. and BT services, New 24V Commulite Emergency lighting system. Liaising with UKPN for replacement of service heads and EDF for changeovers.
Challenge: Maintaining existing mains supplies whilst installing new. Maintaining existing 230V lighting whilst installing 24V Commulite emergency lighting system. Liaising with UKPN and EDF to get head change and lateral mains changeover done in same day.
Technical Solution: Installed a totally separate mains system whilst maintaining ageing existing system. Renewed lighting in stages so block was never without lights.
